Editors: Let people know what you've added!

It's simple. Just…

  1. Click the "Edit Page" button, and add a new line at the bottom of the list below.
  2. Put your cursor on the previous line and hit "return."
  3. Type an extremely short description of one thing you've done. (Added some new links for maps)
  4. Type a colon and a space. (: )
  5. Type the link to the updated section. (http://thessaloniki.pbwiki.com/Links)

Thus, what you've typed would be: Added some new links for maps: http://thessaloniki.pbwiki.com/Links

     6. Click the "Save" button at the bottom. You're done.

     7. If you made other updates, start over again with Step 1. You must click "Save" after writing each bullet point, and "Edit Page" before you start another bullet-point, or the updates won't work right! I hope to remove this step in the future.

Your updates will shortly appear on the "What's New" display page, formatted for easy reading, as well as in people's newsfeeds and even in their inboxes if they've requested that. Feel the power.

Note for awesome people: For Step 5, you can just link to whatever page you were working on, such as http://thessaloniki.pbwiki.com/Main for example. But, if the page you were working on has a darker-green "table-of-contents" menu up toward the top, there's a much better way. In this case, go to the darker-green "table-of-contents" menu, click on whichever question or item you updated, and copy the URL. For example, if you had added some sightseeing destinations to the What sights should I see in Thessaloniki? section on the main page, you'd go to the table-of-contents menu on the front page, click on the link for that section, and then copy the URL:

http://thessaloniki.pbwiki.com/Main#WhatsightsshouldIseeinThessaloniki

What you'd type in that case is:

Added Thessaloniki sights: http://thessaloniki.pbwiki.com/Main#WhatsightsshouldIseeinThessaloniki

Then people will go right to the new info.
